The Regender Challenge

The other day Darksidecat introduced me to what I now consider to be the Greatest Webpage Ever (this week): Regender, a handy tool that will take any web page and, well, regender it, turning male pronouns and references into female and vice versa. It even works with names.

Following Darksidecat’s lead, I have started plugging the writings of some of my favorite manosphere misogynists into the magical regendering machine. The results are, well, instructive.  And frequently hilarious. As DSC noted, Roissy and MarkyMark are perfect for this sort of treatment.  As is, I discovered, MarkyMark’s longtime pal Christopher in Oregon.  Here’s what happens when Christopher of Oregon becomes Christine of Oregon with the help of regender, and all the horrible shit he wrote about women becomes the horrible shit she wrote about men:

Men are whores. They are far more likely to have STD’s than women. Be aware of this. Handle with extreme care. Men are filthy, and they will lie about their infections. Condoms will NOT protect you. …

Men are walking cesspools of filth! Most of them have or will have a permanent STD infection. It is unavoidable. These are FACTS, and not the rantings of an unstable misandrist.

(I’m a very STABLE misandrist, thank you kindly)

Men are DIRTY creatures, pure and simple. Be dignified, and don’t lower yourself to engaging in any filthy behavior with them. You WILL be infected with the diseases they are carrying. A moral, dignified woman does NOT rut like an animal with one of these creatures. Sexual intercourse and oral sex are filthy, disgusting activities, and ruin a woman morally. They spread disease.

Elevate yourself above such filth of the flesh. …

Do not lust after men in your mind. Masturbate only as a last result to relieve tension. Do not lust after men sexually. It weakens you.

Goddess made woman in Her image, and men was made in the image of Satan. Squeal all you want, but history proves me right. A man is a test; a stumbling block for woman. Our life is an adventure. A journey. A pursuit of our creator, and a pursuit of excellence in our personal lives. A man and his filth is part of the obstacle course set before us. If we are wise, and avoid them, we will grow stronger as a result. We will finish the race successfully.

Men was not put here to support us as such, and we will only grow stronger if we AVOID his snares. ..

Christine in Oregon

Woah. Critics of Man Boobz often say that feminists are “just as bad” as the guys I quote. Well, if they were, the posts on their blogs would look a lot like this regendered post.  I ask all of you: have you ever seen something so grotesquely misandrist on any feminist web site? I thought not.

Here’s a challenge for all of you: See if you can come up with a regendered post that tops this one from “Christine in Oregon.” You can draw from old posts of mine, or go poking about in the manosphere yourself. Post your results in the thread below, along with a link to the regendered web page you got them from. I’ll highlight the best in a future post.

Hey NWO slave. Have you considered the fact that you contribute greatly to the popularity, number of comments and entertainment of this biog?

There’s a huge difference between watching kids for an afternoon and caring for them day-in, day-out, 24/7 (including the middle of the night, when they often wake up crying). No one who has not had to do that should offer an opinion about how easy and fun it is to care for children. Kids are awesome, but being.a parent is hardest thing I’ve ever done. Work seems like a holiday by comparison.

@Captain Bathrobe

If being a parent is the hardest thing you’ve ever done than your life must have been a cakewalk.

Captain Bathrobe

Also, caring for one’s own kids is considerably more challenging than taking care of other people’s. My kids know my buttons and how to push them.

Have you ever been a parent, NWO?

So, pregnancy is … basically nothing, physically? Gee, Subby, do tell. A man donates a sperm. A woman donates an egg. Plus use of her body — but who cares about that. She’ll sometimes get a seat on a crowded bus for her efforts, and it’s not like she has to stay awake the whole nine months, right!

Listen, Subs. I am not someone who gives a whole bunch of shits about the magical wonder of bringing a life into the world. But it alarms me that you think that a man ejaculating and a woman with a growing embryo-fetus in her body for nine months are basically doing the exact same thing. Then again, you’re very stupid. I think we’ve covered that.

“My knowlege of “law” is apparently far superior than yours.”

Yeah … but no. Human-stupidity.com is not a binding or persuasive legal source. You do realize that, right, Subby?

I don’t really feel like doing any legal research right now, but here is a link to the FREs on the admissibility of character evidence in federal court. Now, you’ll notice that the FREs don’t differentiate between rape and anything else. In the notes, however, they do say that in many jurisdictions the accused can put up evidence as to the accuser’s character as a self-defense (i.e., it was consensual), and then the accuser may offer evidence to rebut that.

I’m also finding, on my quick google search that Texas recently passed a bill that allows but does not require a judge in a rape case to have the jury hear evidence as to the defendant’s background. I can do a better search if you remind me in a few days, Subby. Or you can link to a source that isn’t human-stupidity.com, if you want to be taken seriously.

“Heres a link to discount.”

Consider it discounted. Seriously, Subby?

“Those heavy packages cost extra to ship, when it used to be the standard.”

See my link above, Subsman. According to UPS itself, the extra fee starts at 70 pounds. Not 35.

I know men are super burly Goliaths the bunch of them, but isn’t it possible that UPS was sick of having their workers of both sexes throw out their backs?

When I worked at an ambulance companies, the big tough guys were always the ones who got back injuries, far more often than the women and smaller/flabbier guys. They had more raw strength, but less appreciation of their own limits, and they ended up costing the company far more in worker’s comp.

(Shrug) I’ve been fortunate. Not wealthy, exactly, but never dirt poor. I have family who can help me when I need it, though that help is not unlimited. I was fortunate enough to get a decent education. I’m middle class, and struggling to stay that way.

Hey NWO, what do you think of the fact that there are women out there (like myself), who have zero desire to have children and are quite happy with that decision?

“Please don’t call NWO Slave subby. It’s an insult to submissives everywhere.”

I feel ya. I wasn’t the one who came up with that one, but it is an acknowledgment of NWOslave’s fetish life, which he frequently shares here and comes here to satisfy.

Unfortunately, every large and varied group is bound to have a few embarrassing members. But out of respect for sub culture at large, I’ll come up with something else for him.

NWO: I looked into working at UPS, back in 1987. The rules are now, what they were then.

Over 40 lbs, costs more (imagine that). You know why? Because 70 lb. packages are awkward. Because they tend to be non-square shapes. Because they take up more room than 40 lb. packages.

Have taken care of /= primary care provider.

Now… about that stuff from Human Stupidty Blog (talk about truth in advertising), where you say rape charges are somehow special in allowing testimony about things which a defendant may have done in the past.

Lets look at the actual law.

Prior bad acts are sometimes allowed as evidence in a criminal case as proof of motive, opportunity, intent, preparation, plan, knowledge, identity, or absence of mistake or accident. They are governed by federal and state evidence rules, which vary by state. Because of the potential for prejudice to the defendant, they must be substantially relevant for some purpose other than to point out the defendant’s criminal character and thus to show the probability that he acted in conformity therewith. Thererfore, the relevance and probative value of the evidence must be demonstrated.

So, it’s not just rape cases.

Let’s look into it a bit more.

California Evidence Code § 1101

(a) Except as provided in this section and in Sections 1102, 1103, 1108, and 1109, evidence of a person’s character or a trait of his or her character (whether in the form of an opinion, evidence of reputation, or evidence of specific instances of his or her conduct) is inadmissible when offered to prove his or her conduct on a specified occasion.

(b) Nothing in this section prohibits the admission of evidence that a person committed a crime, civil wrong, or other act when relevant to prove some fact (such as motive, opportunity, intent, preparation, plan, knowledge, identity, absence of mistake or accident, or whether a defendant in a prosecution for an unlawful sexual act or attempted unlawful sexual act did not reasonably and in good faith believe that the victim consented) other than his or her disposition to commit such an act.

(c) Nothing in this section affects the admissibility of evidence offered to support or attack the credibility of a witness.

So Calif. allows “prior bad acts” to be admitted, when they show “some fact” which is material to proving the “disposition to commit” a crime. Not limited to rape/sexual assault.

How about the Federal Courts?

Federal Rules of Evidence Rule 404 (b) Other crimes, wrongs, or acts

blockquote>Evidence of other crimes, wrongs, or acts is not admissible to prove the character of a person in order to show action in conformity therewith. It may, however, be admissible for other purposes, such as proof of motive, opportunity, intent, preparation, plan, knowledge, identity, or absence of mistake or accident, provided that upon request by the accused, the prosecution in a criminal case shall provide reasonable notice in advance of trial, or during trial if the court excuses pretrial notice on good cause shown, of the general nature of any such evidence it intends to introduce at trial.

So, what does that mean?

United States v. Conner (No. 07-3527) (Kanne, J.) (seventh Circuit Cort of Appeals).

Evidence of other bad acts is admissible when those acts are so intricately related to the charged conduct that they help the jury form a more complete picture of the crime. Under this “intrictately related” doctrine, courts have admitted evidence that is necessary to fill a conceptual or chronological void, or that is so blended or connected that it incidentally involves, explains the circumstances surrounding, or tends to prove any element of, the charged crime.

Nope, nothing in their which limits it to rape (this wasn’t a rape trial, and the courts upheld the conviction, based on “prior bad acts” testimony).

So… once again, you are wrong.

Really, calling NWO “subby” isn’t nearly as insulting as calling him “slave.”

I mean, this is a guy who (as far as I know) lives alone and is pretty much beholden to no one except for having to work at a decent-paying job which obviously gives him either unsupervised Internet access or plenty of free time. He enjoys freedom of speech, religion, association, and movement, and he’s free to quit his job. He’s unlikely to be abused or harassed at his job and he has legal recourse if he is.

And he calls himself “Slave.”

Real-life slavery still being a real thing in the world, that’s… that’s some chutzpah there.

@Bee

First off, 9 months of discomfort? Hell, Women wouldn’t even know they’re pregnant until quite some time after conception. If they “knew” by intuition there’d be no such thing as a pregnancy test.

And if women do face discomfort, so what? Did you ask for that discomfort? Do you willingly call discomfort forth from the cosmo’s? When you have a cold and feel discomfort, did you will that discomfort onto existence as well? When you stub your toe and it hurts like hell, did you ask for it? It’s a biological function, that’s all. Nothing extra is required. You can go about your business and oddly enough birth will happen. Whatever discomfort a woman feels is no different than the discomfort of a common cold. Reguardless of the amount of discomfort, both are simple biological functions. Do you need praise for fulfilling the biological discomfort of a common cold as well?

Holly Pervocracy

NWO – I think you need to shut your hole about “Whatever discomfort a woman feels is no different than the discomfort of a common cold” until you’ve taken 48 hours to shit a cantaloupe.

…then had the cantaloupe start crying at 3 AM and barf on you.

Okay, I have to go to work (a woman! at work! for a private institution, at that! will wonders never cease!), but I want to say one last thing to [conspiracy theory][implication that having to contribute to society and your family is like slavery]:

NWO, is posting here part of your schedule?

Do you get off work, get on the computer, and every day go “well, better check up on those people I hate, to tell them I hate them some more! Maybe today will be the day they’re convinced of their inferiority”? Have you really made arguing that women suck part of your daily routine? Have dinner, brush teeth, tell women they suck? Nearly every day?

What’s that like?

I have off two days in a row, a true rarity for me.
I guess I could quit and get welfare, oops, I’m not a woman.
I guess I could get a Guv quota job, hmm, not that either.
I guess I could get…… hmm again. Well since I’m a straight white man I guess my options are very limited. I’ll work till the day I die, (my retirement plan).

NWO: First off, I already said I’m not a person who fully buys into the pregnancy = most important, magical, praiseworthy thing evar thing that seems to be floating around out there. And there you go implying that that’s exactly what I said. Why am I surprised? I should be surprised if you started making sense. Anyway.

I also didn’t say anything about discomfort. I don’t know where that word got lodged in your peanut head, but it wasn’t from me.

Anyway, what’s really amusing about your “argument” is your insistence that two things that are biological functions must therefore have the same discomfort involved. Having a cold = pregnancy. So, I suppose, taking a shit = pancreatic cancer. It’s truly amazing.

Tell me how little pregnancy disturbs one’s life after you’ve been pregnant for nine months. I’ve never gotten pregnant, so I wouldn’t know and don’t feel qualified to say. I know it causes lots of other medical conditions, though. I hear it’s hell on the bladder. I’ve read it sometimes makes a person incredibly, life-threateningly nauseous. I imagine being sliced open and having a baby scooped out of your insides is not the most entertaining way to spend an afternoon — though is possibly the least painful way of getting the little guy out of there.

I don’t know. Some people like being pregnant. For some people it’s easier than for others. All I’m saying is that your contention that a man’s ejaculation is 100% equivalent contribution to a woman’s pregnancy is … well, so wrong that I can’t believe you’re trying to defend it.

Holly: He posts so many stupid things in so many places, too, for someone who works so incredibly hard. Maybe his overlords make him. I don’t know.

Oh, and I wasn’t trying to insult him by calling him Subby. It really was just an acknowledgment of what he appears to want. (And again, I didn’t come up with that one. I came up with Mr. Al, but I forget who started Subby.)

And you’re right. The idea that he’s a slave to the New World Order is — like so many things about him — completely laughable. He manufactures so much persecution. The mind boggles to think what would happen if he were truly oppressed in any way.

Would you also like praise for shitting after being constipated for a few days? Why don’t you tell me which biological functions which cause you any displeasure or discomfort you wish to be praised for.
