Will Ferrell, Conscious Man

Do you remember the Conscious Men and “Dear Woman,” their little video manifesto/apology to women? If not, please go read my post on them and/or watch at least a minute or two of their creepy, cringeworthy video – you may not be able to take much more. Then watch this: Will Ferrell’s spot-on parody of their video.

Didn’t David point out that Ron Paul, supported by AWS, is all about the nuclear and such energy, so therefore a total contradiction in his “I support clean energy” stance?

I tend to dislike an internet habit of ascribing rude, obnoxious, nasty, incoherent writing to mental illness–first, internet diagnoses are always dubious; second, I doubt any of us are trained to diagnose mental illness; and, third, I know a number of people who live with some form of diagnosed mental illness/problem (I have cyclical biochemical depression) or who are not neurotypical who are not automatically behaving like assholes on the internet.

The stuff spewed by AWS, more extreme than NWO, much more out there than MRAL (who, on his record, might excuse him for all he’s suffered at the hands of women–though MRAL doesn’t believe most of what us feminists say, he does seem to believe MRAs), might as well be ascribed to trolling.

Holy crap, I see everybody has been posting steadily since last night. Strange, considering how ya’ll were braggin about how women do sooooo much work as opposed to men. Perhaps you consider yapping incessantly work. In that case women work their collective asses, (or mouths) off. Me on the otherhand; why I was up long before the sunrise, put in ten hours, came back to my crappy hotel, tossed my laundry in the washer, went shopping, tossed my laundry in the dryer, did my paperwork, folded my clothes and here I am. Funny thing is, a load of laundry took like 10 minutes total labor. I guess men are better at laundry also.

Annnnnnyway, I just wanted to congratulate you gals on just the total destruction of marriage once again, especially in the black community.
http://www.blackamericaweb.com/?q=articles/news/moving_america_news/29688

A little excerpt…”Preliminary census estimates also show the share of African-American households headed by women — mostly single mothers — now exceeds African-American households with married couples, reflecting the trend of declining U.S. marriages overall.”

And what a job those gals are doin. I think it’s like 1/3 of all blacks serve prison time, while the precious ladies get Guv subsidies. But don’t you worry bout that, I’ll be more than happy paying for your communist system of rewarding women and imprisoning men.

Check out the picture they show, two well behaved model women. I guess showing a rat infested shithole with roaches the size of mice would’nt be quite cut it as flattering. Hell it almost looks like a mother/daughter lesbian picture. Ahh well, if women say that’s a good thing who are men to argue? Women are soooo damn moral and spiritual compared to men.

Once again congrat! Hey I probably had a few grammar errors or poorly placed punctuations, start with that and move on to your brilliant logic, and finally end with kittens.

Uh, you realise that some people on this site are men? And some people commenting late into the night were men?

What racist bullshit are you babbling on about now, Subby? Oh hey, we met another racist conspiracy theorist. Better try harder if you want to remain the number one wacky racist conspiracy theorist in the heart of this feminist.

Also: You’re staying at a hotel with a laundromat? And you feel safe enough leaving your clothes in the public dryer of a crappy hotel, while you do other things? I’m not saying it didn’t happen, but it strikes me as odd.

Also: Your comment has a typo in it.

Sure, I could spend 10 minutes on laundry, too, if it was all jeans and T-shirts and didn’t give a shit if it was all wrinkled.

But I like to look nice, and some of my shirts and even *gasp* skirts should be hung up so they do not wrinkle. Sometimes I even hang up my boyfriend’s shirts and pants for him!

And then there’s matching socks and sorting underwear and putting the jeans in the jeans drawer and the underwear in the underwear drawer so I can find ’em when I need ’em. I mean, it doesn’t take all day, but it does take a certain amount of time.

@Bee….Lol, look whose talkin about being racisit. You forget where I grew up. And lets be real here. A couple thousand lynchings to save a white womans precious honor as they claimed to be raped but none of them ever got pregnant in a time before contraceptions. Women using their sex to have men kill other men, how sweet. Lets not forget white women were the head of many KKK chapters.

@Victoria von Syrus…A little laundry hint, if ya use 2 or 3 dryer sheets your clothes won’t wrinkle. But ya have to take them out pretty close to when the dying is finished, sometimes that means putting Oprah on hold. If matching socks is a tad too dificult I’m not sure what to tell you, I actually kinda breeze thru it myself. My heart profusely bled when you told me your no doubt expensive clothing takes extra care to clean.

Most of my wardrobe I either bought at a thrift store or sewed myself.

Seriously, I honestly cannot remember the last time I bought a pair of jeans new. About the only clothing I always buy new is underwear, because it’s too much of a pain to sew and secondhand underwear… just no.

Oh, and I do have some shoes and clothing that I got from clothing swaps, which are super fun (everyone brings something that is in good repair and that they don’t wear anymore or just doesn’t fit right, and then everyone trades back and forth. Anything left over goes to Goodwill).

And I never said matching socks was hard, just that it takes at least a few minutes, especially when you’re matching socks for two people.

Subby: Yup. It was me! Calling you racist for saying racist shit! Pretty funny, huh?

You grew up in Philly, didn’t you? I don’t see how that excuses you for being a racist. Sometimes people can even get over traumatic life events like growing up in Pennsylvania. I know, I know. How could anyone get over something as horrible as that? It’s amazing that you even get up in the morning. Truly I salute you.

NWO, you seem to be confusing ‘white women’ with ‘feminists’. Yes, some white women did claim they had been raped when they had not…does not mean that feminists think that was right or that they support it.

Also, lynching was not just, or even mostly, about rape.

From wikipedia: “Journalist and anti-lynching crusader Ida B. Wells wrote in the 1890s that black lynching victims were accused of rape or attempted rape only about one-third of the time. The most prevalent accusation was murder or attempted murder, followed by a list of infractions that included verbal and physical aggression, spirited business competition and independence of mind. White lynch mobs formed to restore the perceived social order.”

I generally don’t even use the dryer. It’s generally better for your clothes. I just hang everything around my room.

Since I really only post once a day or per thread, I guess I just wasted it on talking about laundry. Hmm.

You grew up in Philly, didn’t you?

It’s always Slavey in Philadelphia.

So, slavey is now saying a couple things:

1) We are racist, because some women led the KKK (as opposed to all the men that did as well, does that make him racist?)
2) Women didn’t get pregnant when they were raped, before contraception was invented and used.
2 alt) Because women used to falsely accuse black men of rape, we are somehow racist
3) It is impossible to grow up in a bad neighborhood and be a racist.

Blech… right on, slavey, keep digging that bigoted hole you’re in. Good luck getting out.
