It’s always handy when one of the MGTOW brethren sums up one of the tribe’s beliefs in a handy little post. The following is what every single MRTOWer out there (not to mention many MRAs and PUAs and even some non-acronymified misogynists) seems to believe about how women live their lives today. When I say “every single MGTOWer” I’m not really exaggerating for impact – well, maybe a teensy bit. But I don’t think I’ve ever run across an MGTOWer who doesn’t take all of the following on faith.
Like many manosphere beliefs about women – like the whole “women only fuck the top 20% of men” thing – there is of course not a shred of evidence for any of this. It’s an essentially religious belief, accepted on faith. MGTOWers are like monks in the douchiest religion ever.
Anyway, fresh from a post by “Rogue” on NiceGuy’s MGTOW forum, here’s how all you ladies are living your lives:
The modern woman’s life plan goes like this:
Step 1) From first sexual awakening throughout her twenties, fuck as many Alpha Asshole men (hereafter referred to as AA) as she can in a quest of sheer narcissistic hedonism. May give birth to an AA spawn during this time; party lifestyle and general female educative path (elementary teacher, social worker) results in shaky finances.
[citation needed]
Step 2) Oops, getting close to or past age 30? Find a Nice Guy Beta (hereafter referred to as NGB), dupe him into marriage with sex (he’s generally grateful for the attention, having had less than stellar success with women throughout his twenties), use his money to stabilize shaky finances. Strong likelihood of having another child or two; may again be AA spawn due to affairs. Pack on 30 pounds of fat (at least!). Cut off sex with NGB since she now has him over a barrel and was never really attracted to him in the first place. Get steadily angrier and more dissatisfied.
[citation needed]
Step 3) Divorce at or slightly before age 40; attempt to remount AA cock carousel, this time as a cougar. Fail miserably because no AA wants an old, fat female body and a loose pussy that looks like a hunk of roast beef that’s been worked over with a dozen ball-peen hammers for a month. Said failure twists her mind until her only remaining pleasure in life is to fuck with ex-NGB in various ways such as taking him back to court to raise CS payments, or denying him visitation rights to his children.
[citation needed]
Step 4) Accept that she’s past her time for the AA cock carousel; become a companion to many cats.
[citation needed]
And what’s with all the cat-hatred, anyway? Cats are adorable, endlessly fascinating little monsters who do no harm to anyone, unless you count all the times my cat has attacked me without provocation and the fact that she just threw up her dinner and is now insistently demanding a second dinner. To paraphrase Samuel L. Jackson’s character in Jackie Brown, you can trust cats to be cats.
Anyway, back to the sermon:
The marriage strike is just an attempt to short-circuit steps 2 and 3, and force women to ride step 1 as long as they can, then transition directly to step 4. Will women like the result if, instead of rushing to save them at age 30, men just shake their heads and walk away? I think it’s an experiment worth trying.
Once again: please, please, please walk away. Walk far away. Become monks in your douchy religion. Just remember that most monks who take a vow of chastity don’t spend the rest of their lives whining about how women are a bunch of filthy bitches.
Oh, and before anyone pops in with a “why do you pick on the outliers, this guy doesn’t represent bla bla bla,” the post (which naturally got nothing but huzzahs on NiceGuy’s forum) was also highlighted on the MRA blog What Men Are Saying About Women as an example of “superb” discussion of the Woman Question. This bullshit is Manosphere-Approved bullshit.
Marc: “You ignorant slut”: Islam is more than a billion people. It’s not just the Arabic world. It’s not a monolithic culture (Look at Afghanistan, which had a female head of state).
That nonsense about Islam can’t change… is just that, nonsense. The Old Man of the Mountain, he was killing Islamic leaders because they were changing. The Moors in Spain, different rules than the Berbers, different rules to the Shi’a in Egypt before the Abayyasids (which is when Egypt became Sunni, and a bit before Iran became Shi’ite).
How do you feel about Mexicans (well, hispanics, but most bigots don’t make much of a distinction)? They are going to outbreed us long before there is any worry about Muslims.
If you don’t think there is a present (and local) danger from Christians who believe the Bible was written directly by God, and can’t be changed from the way they interpret it… look up Constitutional Dominionism.
Serious discussion point, if anyone’s interested:
The quoted article that Pecunium posted (back a page or two) on “Reasons to mock the beliefs of the crazy people” was very interesting (and funny), but I do question whether mockery actually achieves anything positive. It’s certainly enjoyable, and I agree that crappy ideologies should be challenged whenever people put them forward as viable – but I wonder if anyone who adheres to such belief systems ever has their views changed by being laughed at?
And the reason I’m wondering is because there must be a fair few people who – like me – weren’t even aware of MGTOW or MRA before stumbling upon David’s blog. And while most people, on finding that such a “movement” exists, will of course find it horrifying and/or amusing – there may be others who find it attractive, and think “Shit, people who think like me have a MOVEMENT?!”
Because the fact is that there *are* a lot of angry men out there who aren’t getting the sex/relationships they want, and are only too eager to find a scapegoat that isn’t them (MRAL is a prime example). So: is there a danger that this blog might accidentally draw people towards the MRA thing simply by letting them know it exists?
I’ve had some brandy so apologies for any typos or grammatical errors in the above.
How’s that misogynous (that word’s in my dictionary)? It may be wrong, but where’s the clear cut misogyny there?
Are you fucking kidding me? You can’t see the clear and present misogyny in that article? Either you’re dumb or arguing in bad faith.
And re: bombing Mecca:
You’re assuming that all the Muslims who live there would go peacefully, Many would not, preferring to give their lives to make a (valid if it actually happened) point about American brutality.
So we evacuate Mecca – where do all the surplus Muslims (and non-Muslims) go? Which country can take them? What if they won’t take enough? What if families and friends have to be split up as a result of this evacuation? I have to say, forcibly relocating an entire city’s worth of people is not the way to win friends. Do we let them come back after the bombing and try to rebuild, or is Mecca forever after a no-go zone?
What about all the Muslims living in France and Canada and Indonesia, countries where the Muslim residents have no family or cultural (Arab) ties to Mecca? You’ve just destroyed their holy city.
And how do we prevent retribution? If we wiped Mecca off the map, all of a sudden Vatican City and Jerusalem are in quite a lot of peril.
I looked through my history for the MRA/fathers’ rights blog that struck me as reasonable. I couldn’t find it. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, or that there are no reasonable MRAs/fathers’ rights activists — just as if I had found it, that wouldn’t mean that the majority of MRAs/MGTOWs/PUAs aren’t misogynistic assholes. I think the proof’s in the pudding. The Spearhead, In Male Fide, A Voice for Men. All big MRM blogs, run by and catering to misogynistic retrofucks.
Anyway, just thought I’d leave an update.
Sigh.. We can’t even be sure that he’s coming back to see what we have to say (we really can’t know).
But all in all, I’m glad to see the back of him. It wasn’t going to get any better (now that the overt bigotry was out there, to go with the covert anti-feminism; hiding under the ideal of the Rational Mind).
I mean really… he told me I needed to “Beware” because he had, “studied math”. Which is about as far as that got. Someday I’d like one of these blowhards who try to cure me (of my various intellectual afflictions) to actually lay out the game plan.
And Marc (should you just have to peek). Rush Limbaugh, Chuck Schumer, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Michael Reagan, Michelle Bachman, Jonah Goldberg, Ann Coulter, Sara Palin… all put their names on things having to do with, “dealing with” Islam. Some of them have travelled (with known itineraries) overseas, and given public speeches.
All of them are still alive. It’s oh so dangerous to say bad things about Islam.
So much wrong, so little time.
Well, I don’t think that Islam = terrorism but I think that a lot of modern terrorists = Muslims. There’s a difference. Honestly I’m not a huge fan of the shit some Christians etc. do in name of their religion, but in modern times, collectively, it’s nothing compared to the violence done in the name of Islam. To argue against that is to be a moron. The reason is because the Koran is an aggressive text, ad Muhammad was a violent prophet. No other religious figure advocated war as he did. He (as a mythical figure) wasn’t all bad, but I’m saying, it’s no surprise that it is so easy to rationalize violence in his name.
A lot of Muslims are great people. That makes it all the more unfortunate that Islam, as an entity, is such a piece of shit.
“I don’t like that. I think they are wrong. Mocking them is one of the things I can do. It has much fewer (and lesser) repurcussions than going and punching them in the face. It’s also more effective. Look at it this way, the time they (and you) spend here, defending them, isn’t time you (and they) are out and about spreading thier bile and filth unchallenged.”
As a gay man I’m not too happy what most MRAs say. I am definitively not defending misogynists, I never ever did it, this is just an evil distortion of what I said. Or did I ever come up with a misogynous argument, ever? So what’s the bile and filth I spread, you think I would spread if I wouldn’t post here? Honestly, you have no shame. Goodbye.
“Aw man, Marc left, and here I am, still sick with the feminism as well as the dropsy and the lockjaw night vision. *cough cough* Maybe Marc can go try his cure over at the Spearhead. Wasn’t he the one who was like, Meta-Troll, Who Has Come to Show Us That Both Sides Are Just As Bad? It’s so hard to tell them apart. And they so quickly turn from “I’m not saying I agree with the MRM” to “All feminists suck eggs!””
I think that’s one of the post that’s most revealing. I never said something against feminism, I never said something pro-MRA, never ever. You’re spreading lies about me.
I just said you’re wasting your time with delusional stuff (look it up) and I tried to encourage you to actually come up with arguments against the stuff you’re so offended by. If I am asking you about the evidence like that women don’t value status more than men, it’s a insanely huge stretch to see that as misogynist.
I don’t want to cure you of feminism. That’s a horrible misrepresentation of what I said.
And now really goodbye. You’re now revealing yourself and what comes up there isn’t pretty.
@Marc,
I declare to you on this day that I am an incurable feminist who incurably enjoys the mockery of misogyny. You can go now.
It’s the rarely seen Double Flounce and Return! And let’s see if he can stick the landing… ooh.
That’s gotta hurt.
There’s a medic out on the field now…
MRAL: Pop-quiz… what’s the profile for the most common perpetrator of terrorism in the US?
What is the most bloodthirsty (i.e. killed the most people) terrorist group in your lifetime?
What’s group has staged the most terrorist attacks in the English speaking countries?
What’s the most violent terrorist group in Europe?
Graham – That’s something I worry about, actually.
And my honest answer is that I don’t think it helps or hurts. I think that the blog-mockery game is all about preaching to the choir and playing to the home crowd, and if you come in here an MRA you’re most likely to leave an MRA. If you come in here not an MRA, ditto.
However, I do think that David and the crowd here do a pretty thorough job of talking about why MRAs are wrong and not just silly, which is important. And the blog also provides a good resource to send to people asking if I have any examples of MRAs saying anything offensive, that’s for damn sure.
On US soil? Probably extremist Christian groups. I can’t think of anyone else.
I don’t know. Not al Qaeda. Enlighten me.
I don’t know.
Don’t care.
Yo Marc, stick the flounce this time dude.
I would just like to remind everyone that *I* joked about evacuating all of the Middle East. I don’t think MRAL thought it through that far. 😛
No other religious figure advocated war as he did.
Pope Urban II.
No relgious founders, original prophets, Jesus/Abraham/Buddha/whoever.

this is the doctress julia card :] the comment above about science gives me an idea.. not sure how to implement it yet but I have an idea >:3
@Marc,
Hey! You flounced and bounced! We’re incurable, we told you!
Also, you can’t acknowledge the prevalence of Christian terrorists in the U.S. and give them some kind of pass, while condemning all of Islam to quasi-terrorist/terrorist breeding ground because of the actions of Muslim terrorists.
If a religion must be held responsible for the terrorist acts of its founders, then this applies to all religions.
You’re basically saying that they should have destroyed Chicago in the 1930s to counter the Mafia’s terrorism.
What’s the meaning of the word flounce?
I just see some really bad people (Pecunium, Blee, Holly Pervocracy) here that you don’t even have a basic level of decency. You’re in no position to complain about anyone.
No relgious founders, original prophets, Jesus/Abraham/Buddha/whoever.
This is what we call ‘moving the goalposts’.
@Graham It doesn’t rly worry me that ppl might learn about other beliefs I disagree w/ but might be appealing to them :] I dun want to control what ppl believe, and I think that hiding sites/beliefs/etc that you worry are harmful but attractive to others is problematic…. b/c it makes it seem even more appealing… or that maybe htey have something if we’re afraid of ppl looking at them… but that doesn’t mean we can’t lay out what’s wrong w/ those beliefs, or illogical about them, problematic, harmful, etc etc :]
I love how he CAN’T LET GO xD He keeps saying blah blah blah i dun care.. and he CARES xD he cares so bad xDDDD
I don’t give a pass to Christian terrorists, if pushed, I would say the world would be better off without any religion. But if we’re going to start somewhere, Islam is sure as fuck the most damaging.
@Marc,
Get out.
