Just a reminder: the joint Pervocracy-Man Boobz Boston meetup is happening TODAY (Friday the 17th) at 6:00 PM at the Prudential Center food court.
The Man Boobz Toronto meetup is happening TOMORROW (Saturday the 18th) at 3 PM at the College Park Food Court.
I have no idea, I’m just guessing, and my guesses are without shoes. Ami, is that you in the center? Was I right?
Your guess is I’m 5’10” without the shoes? xD (and who else would I be? o_O )
Hmmm…. I say 5’9 without the shoes. The others are 5’7.5 and…. 5’2.
I’m actually about 5’6-5’7, depending whether I’m standing up straight (I’m usually not). Good to know I look taller, though! Also, I am a massive dork in photos, always.
Anyway, Ami & Kristen, I had a really awesome time and I think we should definitely do this again, especially if Spear (and maybe others?) can make it next time.
I’m around 5’8″ xD (but you know this since I told you a number of times I’m your height xD )
*hugs Brett* It was awesome and super fun :3 we rly should try to do it again! :3
I find it amusing height is so important to him XD (I’ve been 5’7″ and 5’9″ and even 5’10”! xD )
my (awesome) platform sandals are about a 2 inch+ lift xD
I figured you were about 5’8, given that you’re only a couple of inches taller than me even in your awesome sandals. It makes sense that MRAL would be convinced everyone is taller than they actually are, though, since he apparently thinks 5’8.5 is extremely short. All average-height ladies must be at least 5’7! AT LEAST.
@Brett K I thought I was WAYYY taller than you xD I have this thing of severely over estimating how tall I am compared to other women b/c of my paranoia about my height xD Even tho I’m way more comfortable w/ my height now, sometimes the insecurity creeps in w/ new ppl, I worry about coming off as a freak, and I start overestimating how much I’m “towering” over ppl xD
(sounds familiar in the opposite sense xD )
DING DING DING, Mr. Al! You win a coconut! I am indeed 5’2″.
Or at least that’s my morning height. By the evening I’m only 5’1 1/2″ or so. In the interests of full disclosure.
I had a great time, too! And Ami and Brett didn’t spit on me even ONCE even though they’re so much taller than me! I feel so lucky. XD
FYI, if you’re 5’8 I’m taller than you because I’m 5’8.5.
I’ve actually taken to waking up later (10-12 AM), so my morning height (5’8.75) is maintained throughout th afternoon. I think it’s a good strategy.
@MRAL:
Its a pointless strategy, because literally no one can tell the difference between .25 inches. You are the only one this matters to.
Also, there’s not a picture of the Manboobz Boston Meeup, is there? I really want to see 6’8 Kirby.
@MRAL:
It would have been quite interesting, because everyone else was on the shorter side. 🙂 Perhaps when I can be bothered I’ll take a picture of myself for people who are curious. Though it would lack a reference to other people… hmm..
Perhaps with a tape measure? I’m pretty jealous. Granted, 6’8 is not the BEST height (I’d say that’s 6’2.25, afternoon height), but still, being really tall is WAY WAY WAY better than being short.
@MRAL:
Oh you and your short privilage. 😛 Have you ever thought about buying clothes? Or how every door and plane in the world is just short enough to bash your head against if you aren’t paying attention? I wouldn’t mind being shorter, and I certainly wouldn’t want to grow too much more.
Also, in terms of dating, there’s a relatively huge falloff in number of sex partners and unsolicited messages once you get past aroun 6’6″. So I’m just tall enough to get the raw end of that spectrum. source
On the plus side, maybe I can get with the girls who face a similar height disparity?
Mr. Al: Have you ever thought of getting an inversion table? They’re only like $200.
@MRAL like I said, we’re the same height xD
@Kirby, I love wearing super high shoes.. I’ll date you! :3 I can wear like 5 inch stripper heels on a date! It’d be awesome >:3
No it’s still better to be too tall than too short, people see you as a lumbering god rather than a short ugly pipsqueak that should be spit upon.
@Kirby you need a hammer or a trident xD
You’re not short. Nobody has spit on you.
You are, however, a detestable twerp whose seething resentment is palpable.
Get help.
u mad?
No, just tired. You’re growing wearisome. Sing a new tune, already. At least come up with another way to phrase “spit on”.
We didn’t take any pictures at the Boston meetup, but Kirby (6’8″) and I (5’1″) did stand back to back, which was… quite a sight, you’ll have to take our word for it.
