Uh oh! Trouble in mansophere paradise! Over on MGTOWforums, the “ghost” calling himself MrLahey is throwing down the gauntlet to all the pickup artists out there who dare to consider themselves allies of MGTOWers. Apparently PUAs are violating the terms of the Cock Blockade; by screwing women, they are evidently screwing over their brethren. MrLahey, who apparently once took an Economics class, explains:
Ghosts are driven to celibacy due to current market conditions, voluntarily or not, it is done in this particular context of risk aversion. I dare say any ghost would prefer, all else the same, to be sexually active, and wishes the risk-reward was different so he could participate in the meat market.
The conditions that make a man ghost are legal, practical and moral. Too risky, too high a price, too time consuming. … Now those conditions that make a man ghost do not exist in a vacuum, but are created by the sum of interactions of the meat market players, right ? The sexually active are the traders and the market makers of pussy, ensuring market liquidity.
Yes, he did just use the phrase “market makers of pussy.” And evidently not as a joke. He continues on with this metaphor:
So when the ghost leaves the market, the ones left to play it, and thus able to sustain or modify the conditions of the trade are the men left in the field : manginas, white knights, puas and mgtow. …
The reason I believe women get away with exorbitant prices (associated risks) for pussy is the existing demand, which sustains the price and favors similar conditions for each subsequent iteration of the trade. … I fail to understand how catering to a woman’s skewed entitlement and grandiose sense of self-worth (telling her lies, buying her things for sex, investing more time in entertaining her than in actual sex … etc) can ever be helpful or instrumental to bring the market price (risks and costs) of pussy down.
The rattling sound you hear is Adam Smith’s skeleton rolling in its grave.
Hippodameia: I know.
@aMiRA:
You’re right. Stuff like this is totally not evidence of homosexuality in Greece… wait…
People used to be adverse to interracial marriage as well, and this lasted in the US longer than slavery. The Gay Rights movement arguably started in 1924, but didn’t really pick up until 1951. And now we have stuff like this. Give it some time, even without subverting the free market.
I can see it’s pointless to argue with those whose minds are closed. It’s sad too because I used to believe that feminism truly believed in equality, but now I see that people don’t come to feminism as much as they are brought up within it, like any religion and faith. You adhere to your doctrines and sacred cows and if the facts don’t fit, then the facts are wrong. The MRM is looking more appealing by the minute. Seeya.
Alright! 2 down, how many more to go?
*comes back straightening her moosed up hair, adjusting her glasses and buttoning up her shirt*
Hay guyz! 😀 Sorry, I had to wash my socks tonight, so I couldn’t be on manboobz! xD I heard there were some trolls. What’d I miss? o:
AMI! YOU’RE BACK! *flying attacklehug!*
Ah! XO
BEST. THREAD. EVER.
*slow clap leading to standing ovation*
Ami!
*Leads mob of charging manbobzers, which all leap together and form a giant heap of affection*
Wow, you missed so much! There were these trolls, and they seemed eerily similar to the main trolls we get here, but they were all consistant and intelligent! You should have been here!
Hey Ami! I missed your excessive use of smilies!! =D =D
We thought you had been kidnapped by the pod people, Ami!
Wow! Rly? o_O;; I always miss the good stuff D: *gives everybody confused hugs* Too bad I wasn’t around to see it!
*winks at the audience, as the episode ends*
WHAT JUST HAPPENED SERIOUSLY WHAT
hahaha.
Ami, I love you.
And yet none of the regular trolls showed up… Where did they all go?
Oh, thank goodness.
XD
“There were these trolls, and they seemed eerily similar to the main trolls we get here, but they were all consistant and intelligent!”
Yeah, and they even knew how to spell! And punctuate properly! I’m telling you, it was strange.
Nobody better complain about the way I write ever again xD Now you know the alternative! >_>;;
One of the ways I got by as I got older and nobody was protecting me (not even the teachers and counsellors) from the harassment, bullying and getting beaten up, and I had no idea there was an alternative to being stuck in the gendered body I was…, was to mimic and rly pay attn to what other men and boys were doing, liking, acting, walking, talking, etc… I stopped being me and started being everybody else… I got RLY good at it too… and I constantly was thinking “okay what would this person do in this situation” and seeing myself literally from the third person. Not surprisingly, I also became increasingly more depressed and tried to kill myself twice. >_>;; That’s also why being myself now, how I talk, express myself, etc is something that’s rly important to me :3 But it’s also why I can imitate other ppl xD (in english, for an assignment, I once wrote a “sequel” to Catcher In the Rye that was apparently so exactly to the voice of the book that the teacher was amazed xD I got 100 >_> ) That did take a bit out of me tho since I had to keep a bunch of different voices in my head (there were actually 4 but 2 dropped out a while ago and I didn’t feel the need to acknowledge their exit xD) and keep what they were saying consistent.. and where they were coming from. xD
This appears to be film footage of what NWOslave was doing today:
It’s must be him; he’s got NWO written on his cheek in marker.
Ami, you really are frighteningly good at … whatever that was.
Oh, okay. I think I get it now. Ami, you seriously scared me. I’m glad you’re not a troll, because you would be a really disturbingly good one.
And ty everybody for the compliments 🙂
I didn’t mean to ramble like that either : It’s just been on my mind as I was doing this today cuz I was thinking about why I can do it… I dun want to sound like I’m bragging or nething : Other ppl can do great satire too :3
Awww *hugs Brett* I’m sorry! D: I didn’t mean to scare you :
And oh yus, we have a meet up. It’s supposed to be this weekend but I’m not sure who can make it…. or where… nobody has said nething yet. I know somebody is in the east end.. I’m in the North but I have the ability to get all sorts of places. When and where would be good for you? :]
I’m definitely available this weekend, and a meetup would be pretty awesome. I live downtown, so I can get anywhere that’s accessible by TTC (I don’t drive, so the closer to downtown the better, obviously). I’ve got plans for Sunday night, but apart from that I’m pretty much free all the time. Hooray unemployment, I guess?
Anyway, my email is bphillipson at gmail dot com if you or anyone else want to get in touch with me.
Okay, just for funsies I vote that Ami gets a separate handle here as aMiRA, because hilarious.
