The Regender Challenge

The other day Darksidecat introduced me to what I now consider to be the Greatest Webpage Ever (this week): Regender, a handy tool that will take any web page and, well, regender it, turning male pronouns and references into female and vice versa. It even works with names.

Following Darksidecat’s lead, I have started plugging the writings of some of my favorite manosphere misogynists into the magical regendering machine. The results are, well, instructive.  And frequently hilarious. As DSC noted, Roissy and MarkyMark are perfect for this sort of treatment.  As is, I discovered, MarkyMark’s longtime pal Christopher in Oregon.  Here’s what happens when Christopher of Oregon becomes Christine of Oregon with the help of regender, and all the horrible shit he wrote about women becomes the horrible shit she wrote about men:

Men are whores. They are far more likely to have STD’s than women. Be aware of this. Handle with extreme care. Men are filthy, and they will lie about their infections. Condoms will NOT protect you. …

Men are walking cesspools of filth! Most of them have or will have a permanent STD infection. It is unavoidable. These are FACTS, and not the rantings of an unstable misandrist.

(I’m a very STABLE misandrist, thank you kindly)

Men are DIRTY creatures, pure and simple. Be dignified, and don’t lower yourself to engaging in any filthy behavior with them. You WILL be infected with the diseases they are carrying. A moral, dignified woman does NOT rut like an animal with one of these creatures. Sexual intercourse and oral sex are filthy, disgusting activities, and ruin a woman morally. They spread disease.

Elevate yourself above such filth of the flesh. …

Do not lust after men in your mind. Masturbate only as a last result to relieve tension. Do not lust after men sexually. It weakens you.

Goddess made woman in Her image, and men was made in the image of Satan. Squeal all you want, but history proves me right. A man is a test; a stumbling block for woman. Our life is an adventure. A journey. A pursuit of our creator, and a pursuit of excellence in our personal lives. A man and his filth is part of the obstacle course set before us. If we are wise, and avoid them, we will grow stronger as a result. We will finish the race successfully.

Men was not put here to support us as such, and we will only grow stronger if we AVOID his snares. ..

Christine in Oregon

Woah. Critics of Man Boobz often say that feminists are “just as bad” as the guys I quote. Well, if they were, the posts on their blogs would look a lot like this regendered post.  I ask all of you: have you ever seen something so grotesquely misandrist on any feminist web site? I thought not.

Here’s a challenge for all of you: See if you can come up with a regendered post that tops this one from “Christine in Oregon.” You can draw from old posts of mine, or go poking about in the manosphere yourself. Post your results in the thread below, along with a link to the regendered web page you got them from. I’ll highlight the best in a future post.

  1. Hey, Mr. Slave, Marc, and Luke, guess what? I had an abortion! Guess what else? I don’t regret it!

So what’s the problem, great for you!

  2. Well I’ve asked the question, any takers.

Tell me, if I give a woman some moontea or something that causes her to abort a “pregnancy” is it murder?

  3. So, Marc, if you get anally raped that should be a misdemeanor? Is that what you’re saying?

  4. @redlocker

    What would the crime be?

  5. YES YOU CAN JOIN OUR CLUB

Thank you, Bee! That makes it all worthwhile. :)

  6. I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

  7. @Mr. Slave,

“Tell me, if I give a woman some moontea or something that causes her to abort a “pregnancy” is it murder?”

Um, no. lol If she didn’t know about it, then it’s crime, same as stealing someone’s kidney, but it’s not murder. See how easy that was?

    @Marc,

    “So what’s the problem”

    YOU.

  8. @redlocker

I mean if abortion is legal. What could you possbly be charged with?

  9. So Marc, prison rape is ok, right? Just part of the punishment? Or is it bad because men are getting hurt?

  10. NWo: I’ve answered loads of questions today, answer mine.

What questions have actually answered (you know, with actual facts, or support)?

    None.

But… Because I am a generous and magnanimous sort:

Tell me, if I give a woman some moontea or something that causes her to abort a [sic]“pregnancy” is it murder?

No. It’s assault., but it wasn’t murder (unless she died).

But why did you do that?

  11. Well, NWO, Scott Peterson was convicted of second-degree murder for killing his wife’s unborn fetus as well as his wife, so, yes, I believe it would be considered murder.

  12. Captain Bathrobe, I guess if Marc were passed out, no crime at all will have taken place, according to Marc

  13. Lessee … Marc.

You know, I think it’s both the language and some kind of brain problem. Surely you can come up with some way to distinguish a person spoon-feeding a reluctant child and rape, right?

I’m not familiar with Phoebe Prince, sorry. I think bullying is far too common, and I also think that it’s something that the laws haven’t caught up to yet. That a girl was bullied and her tormentors have been punished inadequately (if at all) doesn’t mean that other serious crimes should also go unpunished. It’s just a ludicrous argument.

Re. punishment/seriousness of crime/how common the crime is: There’s a lot of competing policy arguments here, but again, I’m sure you can figure out some way of distinguishing copyright infringement and rape. Seriously.

And saying that there can’t be any trauma to a person who was raped when xie was unconscious — seriously? Dude. Don’t fucking even.

  14. But Alex, if you abort a mans child, reguarless of him knowing about it, it isn’t a crime. It is equal parts of his body as well. From Cradle to Grave as you commies like to say. I mean it’s not like that growth from conception spontaneously happens from sitting on a dirty stool, right?

    So whats the difference?

  15. Although it’s not clear whether it would be considered murder if the woman did not, herself, die. I’m no legal expert.

It would, however, be a very shitty thing to do.

  16. Yeah, Captain Bathrobe answered the question, NWO (I was about to come to the same conclusion. Man, do these comment threads go fast).

  17. @Pecunium

Why is it assault? He assaulted no one. No one was harmed.

  18. “I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.”

JOHNNY PEZ CANNOT JOIN OUR CLUB

GO PLAY SOME BONGOS JOHNNY PEZ

  19. @Bostonian:

Captain Bathrobe, I guess if Marc were passed out, no crime at all will have taken place, according to Marc

All right then! Sleepover party at Marc’s house!

  20. @Mr. Slave,

Nope. The involvement of a male human’s body ended the second the sperm left hir penis. Are you honestly telling me an ejaculation lasting two seconds, if that, is the same as nine months of pregnancy?

Commies? lol! Well, proud socialist here, and I don’t deny it!

  21. @Captain Bathrobe

I’m talking about only the unborn. If a man gives his girlriend/wife something that cause abortion, what could he be charged with? Abortion? It’s his fetus as well, isn’t it? He contributed the exact same thing, one reproductive cell.

  22. So, Marc, if you get anally raped that should be a misdemeanor? Is that what you’re saying?

Yes, that’s the way it should be, it should only be a misdemeanor.

It’s not nice to get raped but still if you don’t get permanent damage (psychological damage doesn’t count) I cannot consider that a serious crime.

It’s absolutely not the same category like serious bodily harm with permanent damage. How on earth can you lock somebody up for five or even ten years for raping someone??? That’s soooooooo far too much, it’s insane. I doubt even if you blind someone or beat him so bad that he has to use a wheelchair (where you have clear, objective serious bodily harm) you don’t get that punishment.

  23. PEOPLE CAN DO THINGS TO THEIR OWN BODIES

PEOPLE CANNOT DO THINGS TO OTHER PEOPLE’S BODIES WITHOUT CONSENT

  24. Yup, that is all a female human contributes to a pregnancy: one reproductive cell. I think Mr. Slave honestly believes that artificial wombs already exist.

  25. Marc: Psychological… harm… doesn’t… count?

FUCK YOU AND THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON.

  26. Laci Peterson’s child was unborn.

He contributed the exact same thing, one reproductive cell.

See, this is why no one takes you seriously, working class hero though you may be.

  27. OZY’S GOT IT!!!

  28. Yes Alex, thats what I’m saying. You contributed nothing extra.

Socialism is communism, and of course you’re proud of it. You get power over men with the State being the ultimate authority. You can than use that authority at your whim.

  29. Marc: Your argument (such as it is) removes any crime against a person.

Should people who engage in bullying to the point of causing real harm be punished? Yes. Is it practical (i.e. is can we show a causal link, and move from there to make a charge; such as second degree murder)? Not really.

But let’s extend you analogy. You say that merely having sex with someone against their will isn’t a harm (vagaina’s were meant to have penes put into them from time to time: which is an Aristotlean argument for the telologic purpose of genitals, but I digress), and so no actual harm was done.

So, if I defraud Warren Buffet, or Mark Zuckerbrg, or Bill Gates out of… oh, lets say, one million dollars, or the Federal Gov’t, of a couple of hundred million, it ought to be about as big a deal a speeding ticket, right? They can afford it, after all, I’ve not done any real “harm”.

So, what you are advocating is anarchy. We make laws, in part because of the actual harm (the loss/damage) and in part because of the effect the crime has on society. Killing a judge, or a witness,or a cop, isn’t any different from killing a random person, not in an absolute sense.

The law, however, doesn’t treat killing those people the same as it treats a random murder, because doing that attacks the “rule of law”.

So the visceral reactions to rape are relevant to society. Look at all the people (many of them anti-feminists) who say the problem with rape laws today is that they don’t allow for the families of the victims to kill the accused (That, BTW, NWO is the place where proof isn’t needed, and the woman’s word is likely to be taken without evidence, not at the Precinct House, but at home).

So, you can have your, “natural” law, and live in a place where revenge is more likely, or you can live under the rule of law.. and be denied the ability to rape with legal repercussion.

  30. Marc: Psychological… harm… doesn’t… count?

FUCK YOU AND THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON.

QFT. Marc, if you believe that, you have also forfeited the right to be taken seriously.

  31. NWO, your little example is missing one key thing: consent. That is why it is a crime. You are doing something to their bodies without explicit permission. It is not the same as an agreed upon, safe abortion at all because no one agreed to it, it was just some jerkass giving a pregnant woman moontea without them informing the other.

  32. @Captain,

“working class hero though you may be”

And I’m willing to bet he’s not. When I was living in a working class family, we didn’t even have a computer, let alone internet access. And when I was working overtime to the point of having worked 126 hours (that’s not including lunch and dinner breaks, which I didn’t always take) in nine days, the last thing on my mind was to go and argue with people online. As per Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, I went straight to sleep.

  33. Socialism is communism is fascism is liberalism. All things are equal.

  34. I think NWO has yet to figure out the concept that words have meanings.

  35. @Mr. Slave,

Carrying a fetus in one’s body for nine months is nothing?

  36. ozymandias42, sperm is part of a mans body. The consent was for sex not reproduction. You have no right to a mans reproductive seeds without his consent. If conception has taken place only a mans word can be used to continue with the reproduction. Unless a man has no agency over his body.

  37. But NWOsilly, you still haven’t addressed the IMPORTANT issue:

    Moon landings, real or faked?

  38. @Mr. Slave,

To quote George Carlin, “Not ever ejaculation deserves a name!’

  39. @redlocker, my above post was for you as well, in fact all of you.

  40. Ugh, so all of this time Marc was saying that psychological harm doesn’t count?

Why did I even bother arguing with him?

  41. It wasn’t for me. Moon landings, real or faked?

  42. lol Thanks anyway, Johnny.

  43. @ redlocker

    Hope springs eternal.

  44. NWO: here is a site of questionable authority (you like those, right?) that answers your question. I think it would also depend on the facts, what your intentions were, etc.

Marc: Like I say, I’m not really in the mood for serious research today, but this is the first thing that came up on a google search. It’s only for Mississippi, and you’ll note that kidnapping, armed robbery, capital murder, and rape all have punishments of up to life. Out of the results of those crimes, only one is permanent in the way that you’re talking about. In a sense, you appear to be arguing for a complete overhaul of the CJ system to fit your idiosyncratic wishes. Which is fine — you’re welcome to argue that, if that’s how you feel. Just be clear that you’re focusing on the punishment for rape but using an argument that is at opposition to the way things work re. statutory punishments for crimes. This makes you look a little dishonest and a little, well, like a person who supports rape.

  45. So, Mr. Slave, Slave man, Slave man, is carrying a foetus in one’s body for nine months nothing?

  46. Oh, Alex. Clearly Slavey isn’t saying that it’s nothing. He said it’s like taking a shit.

  47. It’s just verifications for my mind, Bee; I just want him to answer the question. I just want to know his answer.

  48. Correction, Bee. Silly said that giving birth is like taking a shit. I guess pregnancy is like eating a burrito.

  49. Michigan Penal Code

§750.84 Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.

    Sec. 84.

Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder—Any person who shall assault another with intent to do great bodily harm, less than the crime of murder, shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the state prison not more than 10 years, or by fine of not more than 5,000 dollars.

    CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE
TITLE 8. OF CRIMES AGAINST THE PERSON
    CHAPTER 9. ASSAULT AND BATTERY

    240. An assault is an unlawful attempt, coupled with a present ability, to commit a violent injury on the person of another.

    245. (a) (1) Any person who commits an assault upon the person of another with a deadly weapon or instrument other than a firearm or by any means of force likely to produce great bodily injury shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by both the fine and imprisonment.

    (2) Any person who commits an assault upon the person of another with a firearm shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not less than six months and not exceeding one year, or by both a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000) and imprisonment.

As a point of information, Assult doesn’t require harm be done, but merely that the attempt, and the potential be combined.

Judicial Council Of California Criminal Jury Instruction 875 — Assault With Deadly Weapon [ADW] or Force Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury. (“[The People are not required to prove that the defendant actually touched someone.]” and “No one needs to actually have been injured by defendant’s act.”)

Here is example of set of charges under this law:

    Assault with great bodily injury

    Source: SLO PD

WHAT: PC 245 (a)(1) Assault with Great Bodily Injury / PC 243(D) Battery with Serious Bodily Injury / PC 12022.7 Inflicting Great Bodily Injury while Committing a Felony WHERE: 1865 Monterey, Pappy McGregor’s….

The Police Department has been investigating the assault since it was reported. On 06/09/11 Mason was arrested by the San Luis Obispo Police Department for the above listed charges. Mason is a Firefighter employed by the City of San Luis Obispo.

Mason was transported to County Jail and booked for the above listed charges. Bail was set at $50,000.

  50. Alex, I’m not sure how times or different ways I can answer the same question. It is a simple biological function, nothing extra. I’ve heard many of complain of cramps and such while not pregnant, is this extra? When you take a dump in the morning is it extra?, If you have a cold, flu, a painful cut, anything at all that causes discomfort, is it extra? No.

  51. Then, I guess having sex is like ordering a burrito?

Protip: Taco Bell is no good. Chipotle ftw! :D

  52. I stand corrected. Being pregnant IS like taking a shit.

  53. Another protip: If one has to go to great lengths to dismiss another’s hardship/pain like it’s nothing, then they’re probably wrong.

    Just saying.

  54. Captain Bathrobe

  55. NWO: If all the contributions are the same, then the next time someone is getting an abortion, go and get the “clump of cells” and keep it until you have a baby.

If you can do that, then I’ll agree the man’s ejaculation is exactly the same as the woman’s pregnancy.

  56. Hey, here’s a question. Do you think NWO knows or has ever talked to any actual living people? Not on the internet, but in real life?

  57. Off topic, but I wanted to tell you all about the weird evening I had yesterday. Went for dinner with some friends, two of them female — but neither of them spat on me and at no point was I accused of rape. Bizarre.

  58. @Pecunium

    Your ramblings mean nothing.

Question #1) If a man gives his wife/GF a substance that cause her to abort and no bodily harm comes to her what can he be charged with other than abortion?

Question #2) Does consensual sex give a woman the right to a mans reproductive capacity even though the only consent given was for the sex itself, not his reproductive ability?

Men are finally telling in Scotland, and the government there has decided it’s time to do something about it.

    From the Edinburgh Evening News:

Over the decade, the overall level of domestic abuse has soared by around 33 per cent, while incidents involving male victims has grown by over 220 per cent.
Victim Support Scotland (VSS) said the dramatic increase showed men now felt more confident about reporting domestic abuse.
A spokesman said: “There has been an under-reporting of cases in the past. We have noticed an increase in recent years in the number of male victims coming forward and we now provide a service to all these people.
“It’s the old thing that victims of domestic abuse find it difficult to admit to other people the situation they are in.”He said VSS offered free confidential support to all victims, whether it be pointing them in the right direction for psychological help or other forms of support.

  60. @ NWOsilly

    Your ramblings mean nothing.

Question #1) Were the Apollo moon landings real, or were they faked?

  61. Graham, if you spend an evening with one or more women and you are not accused of rape, it means you’re gay.

Real men get accused of rape.

  62. @Pecunium

Your ramblings mean nothing. Then why do you bother to respond?

Question #1) If a man gives his wife/GF a substance that cause her to abort and no bodily harm comes to her what can he be charged with other than abortion?

    Asked and answered.

Question #2) Does consensual sex give a woman the right to a mans reproductive capacity even though the only consent given was for the sex itself, not his reproductive ability?

She hasn’t taken his reproductive “capacity”. If he want’s to avoid the forseeable outcome of sex, he has the capacity to prevent it. “Don’t do the crime, if you can’t do the time?”

Where is this law, you keep talking about (and why don’t you want to live in Iceland…? It has cute girls, age of consent is 15, divorce rate is 1.7 per thousand, most of them speak English, they like Americans, the economy is stable)?

What about the moon landings, real, or studio magic?

  63. “Off topic, but I wanted to tell you all about the weird evening I had yesterday. Went for dinner with some friends, two of them female — but neither of them spat on me and at no point was I accused of rape. Bizarre.”

You were lucky, because man-beatings are becoming an epidemic!

  64. Johnny Pez: No, betas get accused of rape, Alphas and thugboys get teh poontang, and the Omegas get shit on.

  65. @Pecunium

Question #1) Was not answered. No assault has taken place.

Question #2) Was not answered. Both parties agreed to “sex.” Reproduction was not agreed upon.

  66. @Mr. Slave,

Yes, period cramps (which many women don’t have) are exactly like pregnancy. Ejaculation (isn’t that supposed to feel amazing?) is exactly like pregnancy. Taking a shit (which is only uncomfortable when it’s big) is exactly like pregnancy. Getting sick (which is considered BAD for your body, you twit) is exactly pregnancy. All of these last 24 hours a day for nine months, get worse as they progress, literally stretch your skin permanently, make you constantly nauseous, steal your nutrients, cause diabetes, cause cancer, put your breasts and later back in incredible pain, make you exhausted, make it harder to breathe. Yup, just another bodily function.

So tell me, does a male human contribute an extra bodily function too?

  67. Luke: Graham never said he wasn’t beaten. Give him some space. He’ll tell us once he feels comfortable sharing.

It’s okay, Graham. You can tell us.
